Pool O-Rings
The humble o-ring is behind a surprising share of pool leaks and lost prime. A worn or dry o-ring lets air or water past a joint that should be sealed.
Inspect and lubricate o-rings on pump lids, unions, and filter valves each season with a pool-safe silicone lubricant. Replace any that are flattened, cracked, or brittle.
O-rings are sized precisely. Match by the specific fitting rather than by eye.
