Pool Pump Parts
Most pump repairs come down to a few serviceable parts: the lid and its o-ring, the basket, the shaft seal, the diffuser, and the impeller. Knowing them turns a repair into a quick job.
The lid o-ring and shaft seal are behind most air and water leaks. The basket and impeller govern flow, and a clogged impeller is a common cause of weak circulation.
Parts are matched to the specific pump model. Have the model and part numbers to hand before ordering.
This page is a short orientation. A fuller write-up is on the way. In the meantime, see Pool Pumps.
